I've some bad news to share with you about Stig; otherwise known as favourite number 1 (http://graceland-equestrian.co.uk/meet-the-horses/gracelands-horses/favourite-number-1/)
On Tuesday he went back for a follow on appointment with the vets and for further injections. They also x-ray'd him again and found that his withers have deteriorated markedly even though the rest of his back has stabilised really well.
I'm crossing my fingers that I'll be bringing here to the farm at the end of the month and then starting a strict hill-work programme to build his top line. He'll go back for a further review in May.
I'll do whatever I can for this great lad but won't carry on if he's in pain. Here's hoping I can build enough muscle. Wish me luck 🙂

This handsome chap has just settled in and will be with me for a little over 2 months as a training livery. His name is Murdo and hopefully I'll be able to send lots of posts about his adventures of our time together.
Thanks to Issi and Gles for entrusting their fabulous boy to my care, and to George to holding out to say 'Hi' as I dashed in this afternoon.

Such a good boy!! We think this was probably his first time with the Dentist, his teeth were very very sharp 🙂
